Appearance: Her colorful, untamed pelt is probably the first thing you may notice about her. Despite it's wild appeal, Nettle cleans and try's to maintain it daily. Her long hair has plenty of color- orange, white, and black. Her soft tail is bushy and completely black and resembles that of a fox. She has one white paw, while the others are midnight black. Nettle's eyes are a dazzling shade of bright green and her nose is a rosy pink. She has a lean build and is quick on her paws. Her narrow figure makes her very agile and fast.

Personality: Nettle is a curious, friendly she-cat. She isn't a loner by choice and she wishes for companionship. Hunting is her special talent. She really enjoys stalking her prey and blending in with her surroundings. Not only does she get a adrenaline rush from the actual hunt, she's proud of herself whenever she catches something. Sometimes she may come off as cocky. Nettle will avoid conflict, but will fight if necessary. She has a fear of water. She always wanted to be apart of something bigger than herself, ever since her mother would tell her stories about the great clans of the forest.

History: Her two other siblings where born in a abandoned twoleg nest. While she just a kit, her mother would tell them stories about their grandmother who was a fierce warrior among the great forest clans. Nettle and her siblings were healthy and had a happy kit hood. One day while their mother was out, curiously got the best of them. They decided to explore the outside world. As they stepped outside for the first time they where soon snatched up by twoleg kit. All three was gathered up and put into a bag. After being in the dark dark for several hours they were tossed into a river. Nettle was the only one to escape the rustling water. Ever since that event she has been terrified of the water. She wander into the forest to then by taken by a elderly tom. He taught how to hunt, fight, and how to survive in the forest. Moons went by. One night they fell asleep together and when she woke up, she was alone.

Very nice! The only problem is the birth moon, which I saw you asked me about in the shoutbox but I figured I'd just help you out here. The birth moon of your cat is basically the current moon minus your cat's age. I like to use this site. To use it, just take a look at the moon we're currently in (The Snow Moon 2015, or February's full moon in 2015) and count backward through the full moons until you reach zero. That's your cat's birth moon. So that means that Nettle was born in the Strawberry Moon, 2014.
Hopefully that's not too confusing! Let me know if you still don't understand and I'll do my best to explain it a bit differently.
And of course, as soon as you fix up her birth moon, she can be approved and ready for roleplay!

I used today's current date 3/27/2015 and subtracted by 20 months/moons(my character's age)
Which resulted into Saturday, July 27, 2013

That's fine, it is pretty complicated! But now I see where you're confused, so hopefully I can help. ^^

In this roleplay, time moves differently than in real life. For example, right now it's still in the range of January 20th to February 17th 2015, even though in real life we're almost in April. That's because it doesn't go by month, but from the span of one new moon to the next, with the full moon roughly in the middle. The full moon in this span of time falls on February 3rd, so we use the February full moon's name which is the Snow Moon. There's a list of all the moon names and how they correspond to the months here.
If you go to the site I linked you before (the moon phases one) and look at the full moon for February, that's where you start at 20 moons. Then you have to manually go back each full moon (so up the column, not counting the new moons or quarters) until you get to zero; you might have to go back a page or two depending on your cat's age. Take a look at what month that full moon falls in, and then use the moon list to figure out what it would be called. If it's the second full moon in that month, it'll be called the Blue Moon, regardless of what month it is.

Also, I realized as I was typing that out that I calculated your cat's birth year wrong, it would actually be in 2013, oops!
