Name: Crow
Age: 22 moons
Allegiance: Loner
Birth Moon: Beaver Moon 2014
Gender: Gib
Appearance: (image) Crow is a mostly black, lean gib. In the sun his fur shows more of the brown undertones present. His eyes are a bright yellow green. His fur is long which leads to him having to groom more frequently to avoid matting. The pads of his paws are a medium gray tone, some having sores from being frostbitten.
Personality: As a loner, Crow has learned to take the hardships of outdoor life, however finds some of it quite tedious. Such as grooming. His fur frustrates him more than anything, having to groom it more than he believes short-haired cats do he wishes he could lose most of it. However, he does find the positives of having long hair during the colder months, and one will not find him complaining about his fur then.
Hunting is one if his favorite activities because of the need of focus. This allows for him to avoid personal thought, and just immerse himself in an activity. He also finds the tangible result is quite pleasant.
He's often been drawn to the kittypet life for the luxury, easiness and familiarity of it. The thought of companionship often draws him, but he is too nervous to take such a risky choice. He's quite worried that he won't be accepted into the new environment and finds himself more content when he isn't thinking about change.
History: As a kit, Crow was a kittypet. They were adopted from a farm by a small, young family with two children. They had gone through to neuter Crow. They were researching whether or not to declaw him when they realized one of the children ended up quite allergic to cats. So they abandoned the thought of declawing him in search of a new home. Meanwhile, Crow would still play with the other child. Often they would go outside to play. One day, a few moons later, while playing, a family had contacted Crow's owners and decided to pick him up. Showing up with a carrier, they approached Crow. This contraption frightened Crow and he ran off.
He soon found he was unsure where he was, and that he was alone. Crow decided he was unwelcome at his old home and he had to find a new one and ventured out. After a day of wandering he was hungry and figured he had to find something to eat. He smelled a scent of a mouse, much like he would smell in his old home. He searched for the mouse, but learned wild mice were more alert than mice in homes. His first few hunts were unsuccessful but once learning some subtleties of hunting, he was able to provide for himself.
He has been roaming around since, unsure what he really wants to do.
