{ Appearance }
Flame is a slender orange mackerel tabby she-cat with significantly paler underfur and thin, dark stripes. She has an orange-pink nose that is split down the middle, the result of being caught by one of her mother's claws during a sparring session. She has long legs and is built of lean muscle, making her generally much stronger than one might initially assume. Her left ear has three small, ragged v-shaped notches along the outer edge and her eyes are a brilliant shade of gold.
{ Personality }
Distant, yet observant. Flame is quiet and tends to keep to herself for the most part. She has a strong sense of moral justice and would hardly ever turn down another cat in need, even going so far as to put her life in danger for the sake of someone else regardless of the consequences. Despite being more on the silent side she is loving and amiable to those she holds close to her heart, but generally avoids getting too cozy with other cats and has a very small social circle as a result.
This isn't to say she is unfriendly. Flame isn't entirely against closer relationships, it just may take some time to gain her trust enough for her to consider you a friend. It's often hard to tell what exactly she's thinking as she masks her emotions quite well and isn't easy to read. Flame has a decent relationship with her father Rex, but despises her mother Red with a deep intensity that often leaves Rex disturbed by the depth of her hatred. Flame is definitely at her worst when around her mother.
{ History}
Flame and her brother Fox grew up on tales of the Clans, unknowing that they had ThunderClan blood running through their veins from their mother Red as well as sharing WindClan and RiverClan ancestry from their father Rex's side of the family. Their mother old them any number of legends. Filling their heads and hearts with the code of the Clans. Flame and Fox grew up wanting to become warriors, but eventually as she grew Flame found that she wanted to move along to other areas and explore the world. Her mother kept her in line either through frightening stories of cats being torn to pieces by foxes, badgers or dogs or else guilted her into staying. Flame never really quite realized she was being deceived. Not until the day Fox lost his life.
Red sent Fox to scout out a garden and he never came back. The snarling of a dog and her brother's shrieks had her rushing from where she'd been hunting to the fence only to find her beloved brother nothing more than a pile of torn fur and flesh. Turning on her mother, Flame and Red had the worst argument of her life and it took all the will-power Flame had not to attack her, instead fleeing into the forest. The two haven't seen each other since Flame left and she does her best to avoid Red at all costs.
