I'm sure many of you know, but we are holding an in-character gathering this moon! I should be able to get the thread up fairly soon, but I figured for now I'd post here since I'm curious about which cats are going! Hellion's character Wolf is the cat that decided to put it together, and my character Clover is helping him spread the word. For a character to be able to know about it, they have to hear about it in-character, so I thought this might be a good idea to help people organize how their cats know about it.
If you're interested in having your character(s) attend the gathering but haven't figured out a way for them to hear of it, try posting here and see if anyone has a character of their own that can pass the news along ^^ There doesn't need to be a thread roleplayed out for the information to be shared, but of course it is encouraged! I've also realized that there's a chance that a cat in the area might stumble upon the gathering while it's in progress, which could be pretty interesting. We'd have to limit that to one or maybe two cats if they're traveling together though, since it loses a bit of realism if there are five different cats happen to wander into such a specific spot on the same night.
In any case, Clover is definitely going to be there, and I'm also thinking that Moth will have bumped into Clover while in the forest and heard about it so she's likely going too out of curiosity. Who else has characters attending or wants their character(s) to attend? c: |

I'd love for Onyx to be able to attend (and because they are out in the forest specifically to find the clans, it would not be shocking if they heard about it) however I'm not sure who would've told them about the gathering in the first place!
It feels like it'd be a bit cheap to just say "random cat that heard about it talked to them," but you know. It's not mandatory anyway, so I can always wait if it's not practical.

Yeah, I definitely agree that it would be better not to go the "random cat told them" route, especially since that takes away the opportunity to build IC relationships too. It would be really nice if Onyx was able to attend, though, since right now there are just a handful of cats going and I think it would be more fun if more cats were involved.
Clover's going to be running all over the forest looking for cats in the few days before the gathering, so if you wanted to arrange something there that would definitely be doable! I also think that Onyx would be an interesting candidate for the one cat that stumbles upon the gathering by chance, if you want to go that route, since they have some knowledge of the Clans. Maybe they notice it's a full moon and decide to look for the place where gatherings were held, but then they end up being surprised when there are actually cats there! :P

Yeah that'd make sense! (If they stumble into the gathering, I mean.) I could see them going "welp, if I'm going to find them any time it'll probably be now," so we can probably just go with that.

Fish is likely to go, especially after his talk with Clover! He grew up with his mother telling him of all the Clans (Riverclan mostly), and has a decent interest in them. I'm excited to have him meet all the cats that'll be there. : )
