Ahh, it’s been quite a while since I’ve done one of these. I think I might change up how they’re done just a tiny bit. Anyway, now that it’s March 1st it’s time to start a new moon!
Basic info
Now that the moon has officially been switched from the Flower Moon 2015 to the Strawberry Moon 2015 I'll go over a few basic things here.
First of all, threads taking place during the Flower Moon can still be started, but it's encouraged to keep moving forward and instead include those details in threads taking place during the Strawberry Moon. Also, don't feel like you need to rush to wrap up any leftover threads you have going from the last moon. Just keep going and finish them off naturally. But make sure to keep things moving forward in the current moon too!
Next up is the topic of the age up. All characters created before this thread was posted must follow the instructions in this thread. If your character has been approved after the time of this being posted, their age should be accurate and up to date and you don't need to change anything.
Events
Though it started later than planned, we just began our first gathering thread! It’s hard to say how it’ll turn out this early in the thread, but hopefully there’ll be the chance for another gathering later in this moon. I’ll post another thread in the plot discussion board a couple days before that, so everything can be explained and worked out beforehand.
I was also thinking we could have another thread roulette or two sometime this moon, if anyone wanted to participate? The basic idea of thread roulette is that players can enter however many of their characters as they choose into a random drawing and then pairs will be chosen and the selected characters will then participate in a thread together! It’s a fun way to stir up activity and get unusual mixes of characters to interact. If people are interested, it’s definitely something we could organize! Or if anyone has another idea for getting the place active that would be welcome too!
Miscellaneous
If you hadn’t noticed (and I’m sure many people don’t, since I didn’t announce it anywhere really), I created a spreadsheet a little while back to help with the conversion of IC moon dates to what they would be in human terms. You can find that here! There are four tabs along the bottom, with three IC moons in each. The current moon's title is coloured green to make it stand out. Let me know if there’s anything I could change to improve it!
Things got really quiet for a long while there, and lots of people have gone inactive. But now I’m ready to make things active again and I’m looking forward to where this site will go! I can’t believe it’s been running for over a year already, though to be fair a good portion of that was spent inactive. Here’s hoping the next year will be much better!
