Welcome to Thread Roulette! We did one of these a long time ago and it was pretty fun, so now we’re doing it again! Right now the plan is to have one every moon or so, but of course that can change if need be.
For those unfamiliar with Thread Roulette, it’s a game of sorts where you enter however many of your own characters as you like into a pool and they’ll each be randomly matched with another character, or if there’s an odd number of characters entered there will be one group of three. Those characters then participate in a thread together! It’s quite interesting to see all the different pairings that can happen, since some are the last thing you’d expect c:
Threads can be about anything, of course, as long as it follows the rules and makes sense within the game setting. Players can keep it between themselves or open it up to others, the same as any other thread ^^ It’s mainly just a way of getting people to roleplay with people they might not normally post with! It can spark some pretty interesting developments plot-wise, too.
If you’d like to enter any of your characters, just reply to this thread with the names of any characters you want put into the pool. You’ll be able to enter from now until September 7th, and I’ll run the entries through a random generator and post all the pairings on the 8th! You're also welcome to change your entries any time before the 8th, since I'll generate the pairings right before I post them ^^
I'll be entering my own characters Clover, Baron, and Moth, though I may end up changing that depending on how busy I am. Hopefully we get some fun threads from this!
