Welcome to the first news post of the relaunch! Unfortunately it’s coming much later than I had originally hoped, but such is life. I planned on doing this at the start of November, but we’ve been worrying a lot about one of our kitties these past few months because of her medical condition and I haven’t really had the energy for the site. She sadly passed away on the 27th, but she was definitely happy right up until then. Now that I’ve had a few days to process everything, I think I’m ready to try getting back into the swing of things!
Basic Info
Now that the moon has been switched over from the Sturgeon Moon 2016 to the Harvest Moon 2016, there are a couple of basic things that need to be taken care of!
First, the Age Up for this moon has officially begun! This process is covered in more detail in this thread here. The Age Up is mandatory for all characters that were approved before the posting of this thread, so make sure to reply as soon as you can!
Also, while the moon has changed, it’s still fine to start threads taking place in past moons. However, it is encouraged to keep things rolling and instead fit those details into a thread for the current moon if possible! Don’t feel you need to rush to finish any leftover threads, just wrap them up in your own time~
Miscellaneous
Though I was gone for quite some time, I still have tons of ideas for the site! The first thing I’d like to do, probably in the next couple of days or so, is implement a working Timeline of all events on the site. I figure something like that would be nice for those that don’t have the time or desire to go through and read every character bio and IC thread on the boards. It’ll require some team effort to keep up and running smoothly, but I hope it’ll work out nicely!
Additionally, I would kind of like to do a holiday themed event of some sort due to the season... Though the cats wouldn’t really know about that sort of thing, so I’m at a bit of a loss. If anyone has ideas of what we could do (even OOC events are good!) then please feel free to share.
That’s all for this moon! Like I said above, I’ve been rather MIA for various reasons, but now that I’m getting a handle on things I should be around a lot more. I can’t wait to see where things go for the site from here on out, thanks for reading~
