Sarai | Queen | 23 Moons | Loner

Where: Fourtrees.
Who: Kaven, Sarai, open to others

“They tend to think I survived the bear attack by hiding in a tree, but that’s a lie,” said the starry cat, sitting on a grand log in front of her as he shared his story. The Tribe of Stars often visited Sarai in her dreams because they missed her greatly, and did not approve of her banishment. “I actually hid in the bear’s cave! Then when she came back, I dove down from the cleft and clawed her eyes out. And, uh...”
“That’s how you died,” Sarai finished for him. “She swiped you off, but her eyes were damaged so badly that she could no longer harm the Tribe, because they could get out of her way if she went after them.”
“Have I told this one before?”
“Many times, grandpa,” she giggled.
“I am sorry, little one. Ah, but you must wake up now—someone approaches.”
Golden eyes flickered open and she gazed around the shallow dip edged by four giant oaks. She had been napping on top of a huge rock that stood in the middle of the regal trees, and she was sure that whoever was there had already spotted her dark coat against the lighter gray of the stone. Standing and stretching, she called out, “Hello?” to whoever was nearby. She was still a bit groggy, as she had only gotten a little bit of sleep, but she felt as if her grandfather was standing next to her for a moment, and it helped her focus enough to look around for the stranger.
