It's gotten pretty quiet around here again, and I'd like to apologize for not keeping things moving the way I had hoped to. Exams took a lot out of me this past semester, but now they're over so I'm back and ready to get things active again! Hopefully there's still a decent amount of interest in the site and we can get some threads going soon.
There are lots of members who haven't been online in a long while so I'm going to send out an email to see if any of them would like to come back now that it's not dead quiet. If you are still around, just let me know either here, through message, or even in the chat! It doesn't have to be formal in any way, I'd just like to get an idea of who's still here.
For those of you that are around (including those who have recently joined!), I have a couple of questions.
Firstly, the Flower Moon 2015 has been going on for longer than originally planned, and I'd like to know when you all would like for it to end. Would the end of February be good, or would you prefer it to be longer, like the end of March? I'd like it to coincide with the end of a month, so those are our options for now. If you've got another suggestion though, feel free to share ^^
Secondly, I'm sure most have forgotten or were not aware of it in the first place, but we do have a small gathering planned for this moon. When would be the best time for that to be held? I'm guessing probably closer to the end of the moon so more cats can become aware of it, but that also doesn't leave much time for post-gathering roleplay. Let me know what you think and we'll probably end up going with whatever the majority prefers.
Just a reminder, if you'd like for your character(s) to attend the gathering, make sure you arrange a way for them to hear about it! It's not necessary to actually create a thread and roleplay it out, but have an idea of how your character heard of the gathering.
Anyway, here's hoping we can revive the site quickly and keep it alive for a long time to come!

Hey, I'm still around! (And willing to nudge Blueheart any time something interesting comes up.) The people I was playing with just have not been around much- or anyone really, outside of myself and Blueheart.
I have no preference in terms of when this moon ends or anything like that, but I would like to know more of what the gathering is all about. It's something I know Onyx would attend for sure if they knew about it, but because I don't know much about it myself I don't know any plausible way that they'd hear about it to begin with!

Hey I got your email I wouldn't mind coming back. As far as the gathering gose I say the sooner the better. If you get a lot of people rolling even if some miss out on some stuff I'm sure attendance will go up! Hit the ground running!

I've lurked but also started back up with school.
However! Wolf & Swan will both be fairly active characters. I think the moon ending soon-ish would be best. Once we agree on a time I can start the thread with Wolf somewhat leading the gathering.

Hello, all! I'm fairly new to this site, and I'm excited to see it return! I agree that the moon ending fairly soon would be best to, as Ruby said, hit the ground running. : )
On a side note, I'm not sure how Fish would hear about a gathering, and I'm even less sure he would actually attend one, but if someone wants to try and convince him I'll be starting a thread with him soon enough. (Or perhaps joining someone else's... I dunno)

Alright, it seems like ending the moon earlier rather than later would be the best idea to keep things moving, so the last day of the Flower Moon will be the 29th, then we'll be back to our usual schedule of two months per moon ^^
As for the gathering, it's pretty much an informal thing that Hellion's character Wolf decided to put together along with Flame, the character of a member who's no longer on the site. It's nothing all that big, so it's mainly dependent on cats hearing through word of mouth. My character Clover knows about it since she's staying with Wolf in what used to be ThunderClan's camp, and she's going to try and tell other cats about it so if someone wants to arrange our characters having met somehow then just let me know ^^ Once more cats know they can start to spread the info themselves if they'd like to. One thing to remember is that the gathering will be taking place on the 18th day of the Flower Moon (May 5th 2015), so any characters you want to attend the gathering will have to learn about it before then.
I'm thinking we could give it a few more days, and then have the gathering thread created around the 13-15th? That way we can get a few more cats to come and still have time to let it go on for a while, though if it goes past the end of the moon that's fine too. What do you all think? c:

That all sounds a-okay to me! I'll mark my planner so I don't forget. : )
Fish'll be passing through Thunderclan territory on his quest to find the Riverclan homelands, so if you'd like, he and Clover could have a chat! I think a Gathering would interest him whether or not he actually decides to attend one.

Sure, that sounds good! I'm sure Clover will try her best to convince him to come, she's pretty excited about the Clans reforming ^^ Would you want to have a thread and roleplay it out or just make a note of when it happened so I can put it in my timeline? Either option is fine with me c:
Also, I made a little mistake in my last post; the gathering isn't on the 18th, it's actually the 16th day of the Flower Moon (May 3rd rather than 5th). Apparently I'm not very good at counting ^^; I think I might create a little spreadsheet for how the days of the moons match up to human dates, for easier reference. I've already got something similar in progress, so it wouldn't hurt to add some more info to it before I post it here.

I wouldn't mind RPing it out, since I haven't gotten to use Fish yet, but if you'd prefer just to make a note of it that's perfectly okay as well!
Also I think a spreadsheet would be super helpful, actually! If you've got the time to make one I'd say go for it. : )

I second that for the spreadsheet would make starting threads easier and less confusing I'm 100% for starting the gatherings with Wolf just give me a pm with any special details you might want

I'm pretty much always willing to do more threads, so we could definitely RP it out! If you want to plot anything out before hand we could do that in messages or in the plot board, or we can just wing it ^^
For the spreadsheet, I'll just have to figure out how exactly I want to format it and then I should have it done pretty quickly. I love working with spreadsheets, it's lots of fun :D
One thing I am considering for the gathering is changing how post order works a little bit, since there will probably be quite a few different members in the one thread and we want to keep it moving as much as possible. At the same time though, I'm not sure entirely abolishing post order is a good idea either. Maybe a certain number of posts by other players before you're allowed to post again?

We could have sign ups and set an order

Oh, that is an option... But that still leaves the possibility of people disappearing and the thread coming to a standstill. Maybe have a limit of a few days and once that time is up the next person can post? Though the previous person could jump back in, of course. I'd like a way for everyone to be involved but that still has things moving along at a decent pace. I know I can take a while to reply sometimes and I wouldn't want the thread to be held back just because I took a little longer getting around to my reply.

You could also set time limits.
Have a pre existing order and say if "Bob doesn't reply by x date then it's Jill's turn" and if bob comes back in he can return to his earlier spot.

Yes, that's what I was trying to say when I said a limit of some sort, thanks for putting it into proper phrasing for me! For some reason I couldn't figure out how to say it in a way that was understandable. I don't think sign ups are needed though, we can just keep track of the posting order and use the time limit thing you were talking about. How long do you think would be a reasonable amount of time? Would 2 or 3 days be too short? Also, I finished making the date comparison spreadsheet a little while ago and forgot to link it here ^^; Here it is! If there's anything you guys don't like about the formatting, something you would change, etc, let me know!
