So I've been thinking lately. I know I've told everyone of how I have helped run proboards before but never did any coding. So I was wondering, who did the coding for TCR? Did one of you guys do it yourself or was it like a premade thing? Cause I was actually thinking about making a proboard of my own. The issue is that I don't know how to code or make anything fancy like some of the stuff on this site.
And i'm still thinking over the different ideas I had for a board

The skin used on TCR is premade, but there might be some places you can try that will teach you how to code. RPG-D may be a good option, but they may be more familiar with InvisionFree and Jcink coding.

Yeah, this was just a skin I found in the theme library, aha ;; Some of them aren't the best, but there are a few nice ones in there! I wouldn't mind learning how to code one myself, but I think I'll wait until V6 is released since it'll no doubt be different. If you go on the Proboards Support forum you can also find an area where you can request a theme to be made by someone else, but it's all volunteer based so I'm not sure how long that would take.

I don't know if anybody would be interested, but on another site(one where there are a BUNCH of different types of Rps, not just one) I had made a thread that I really liked and that was the reason I had asked about proboard coding. If your curious, here is the whole general plot:
Things used to be so simple. Computers replaced humans. Cell phones were in every hand and pants pocket. TVs were in every room. People took showers with warm, running water. People lived for technology. Technology was what the world seemed to revolve around. That was the way things were 15 years ago. But not anymore. It is the year 2067. People have their own daily way of life, one of which is very much different than it would have been maybe 20 or so years ago. People live in small villages, which used to be very small towns, which are surrounded by walls built over a year or two. People grow crops, farm everyday, use basic tools that are made from natural items such as stone, melted and melded metal, and wood. Why do people live like this now? Why don't people have cell phones and computers and running water and working stoves and cars? The Blackout. 15 years ago, 2052, people were living their daily lives, with kids going to school, parents going to work in their big offices, and cars covering the streets. No one really remembers exactly what day or what month it was, but there was an explosion. Something fell from the sky, something unseen, unheard, unknown. There was a large cloud of smoke and a rumbling that shook buildings at their bases. At that second, the entire world shut off. Lights went out, cars stopped working in the middle of the highway, planes fell from the skies, boats shut off and began to sink. Everything turned off. Now, as far as every scientist that even tried finding the cause, there was nothing to find. When that explosion went off, there wasn't anything there to prove that there was ever even an explosion. There was no crater in the earth, no large stones or meteors that could have fell, nothing. It looked like there was just a large fire that spread over the land within seconds, burning all the grass and trees in sight. But the blackout wasn't all. That explosion not only shut off the entire world's power, but it also spread a hidden disease. It was unseen, unheard, and unidentified. It didn't travel by air, by water, by physical contact, by blood, by nothing. As far as everyone knew, it didn't travel. It just appeared. It would strike the hearts of random people and animals, not going for anyone in particular. One person could be infected while the rest of the people they live with are 100% healthy, even when they interact. It just hit random targets. The first sign was throwing up, fever, blisters, and discoloration of skin. It didn't take long before it turned into madness. People were attacking their family members, going after their pets, trying to kill everything and everyone that they saw. It also didn't take long before the madness would disappear, and in its place remained a lifeless, mindless, and emotionless human. People were basically turned into zombies. They ate flesh, walked slow, and could only be killed by killing the brain. People weren't the only one's infected, though. Animals were as well, turning mad and killing people. This is the world we live in now. The entire world is all the same. No one has ever found a cure for people and animals that were infected and no one has ever found the cause of the blackout. It's just a part of life now.
The idea for there being a blackout actually came from a show I watch called Revolution, or at least the blackout itself. As for the disease and the zombies and stuff, that was me putting my own twist on things XD

That sounds very interesting, Fox! Could you PM me to tell me what site you're talking about with all the different RPs? There's only one I know of right now and it seems to be slowing down gradually.

Ooh, sounds like a fun plot~! I've always had a weakness for zombie-type stories, they can be really interesting ^^ Hopefully it'll turn out well for you! I might lurk every now and then to see how it's coming along c:

Yeah, I could do that, Zesha.
Also, I don't know if and when I will start it up. But if I do I will make sure to tell you about it and do some affiliating. But it would take a while to make everything, since I'd be doing this on my own.(Of course the person that doesn't know how to code wants to make a proboard)

You could try to proboards support site and see if anyone there can teach you to code?
